About Zenodo
Zenodo an open repository for scientific research developed under the European OpenAIRE program. All papers are assigned a DOI. Furthermore, the citation information is shared with DataCite and research aggregators, enhancing the discoverability of the publications through various scientific databases.
The name is derived from Zenodotus, the first librarian of the Ancient Library of Alexandria and father of the first recorded use of metadata, a landmark in library history.
